King County Real Estate Market Update – December 2021

A quick update on the last month of activity in the King County real estate market. Strong growth in home values compared with last year. 78% of homes are selling in less than 15 days. 55% of homes are selling above list price which suggests that while there’s still a fair amount of competition in the market, that it’s focused on certain property types and price ranges and there are a number of homes that can be had at or below list. Overall, we are still seeing a need for more homes in the region as we have just 0.3 months worth of inventory at the moment.
